2023年結成。オルタナ、パンク、ロック、ファンク、ダブ、スカ、フォークと個性が賑やかに折り重なる歌ものバンド。
バンド名のTHE KiPPiSは和気藹々と音や言葉を交わすメンバーとそのユーフォリックなサウンドを体現した言葉に由来。フィンランド語で「乾杯」を意味する。
2024年、1st EP “Drivers”をサブスクにてリリース。沖縄を活動拠点としつつ県外海外での公演も視野に動いている。
Formed in 2023. They have various music style which, not only one genre but, alternative, punk, rock, funk, dub, ska, and folk. As they love, play it freely.
The band name “THE KiPPiS” comes from the words that embody the members who are playing sounds harmoniously and their specific euphoric sound. It means “Cheers” in Finnish.
As of 2024, they released the first EP “Drivers” on subscriptions. Their public performance is playing in Okinawa and trying to play other prefectures in Japan and overseas.
